Monte J. Miller, AIA

Monte grew up in Coeur d'Alene attending North Idaho College and then the University of Idaho, graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree.  His apprenticeship ensued, working for two local, prominent architects; R.G. Nelson and Doug Cranston, developing valuable design philosophies and professional registration in 1978.  Miller formed his own firm in 1982 which evolved into Miller Stauffer Architects in 1989.  Miller's design experience covers a multitude of construction projects. Recently he wore two hats as chief architect and developer for the newly completed McEuen Terrace and Parkside which is currently under construction. Both projects are mixed-use high-rises located in the downtown core and noted as revitalizing the urban renewal currently underway in Coeur d'Alene.  City committee appointments have included: Community Center Advisory Board, City Infill Zoning Regulations and The Downtown Core Development Zoning Regulations.  Asked his crowning achievement, out come the photos of the project collaborated with wife Anneliese, their family that includes daughter Cassandra, son Jackson and brother bulldogs Bubba & Bentley.
